It doesn’t take long in a pregnancy to start losing sleep. You may start to notice it at three months or four if you are lucky. However, the day will come when you just can’t seem to get comfortable. You wake up sore with pains in your hips, belly, lower back and neck. What you need to get ride of all those pains is Boppy Custom Fit Total Body Pillow.
Unfortunately the larger your belly gets the more discomfort you are going to feel. Why would I bring you all this bad news? I am not a sadistic person by nature, but I tell you this because there is a simple way to alleviate much of your discomfort.
One of the very first things you will want to purchase when you find out you are expecting is a maternity pillow. Like many other items, not all maternity pillows are created equal.
I am going to do a Boppy Total Body Pillow review for you today, and show you how much better you can be sleeping within just a few days.
One of the best things Boppy did when designing this pillow is to realize that every woman is not designed the same. This is especially true of pregnant woman. We all get bigger in different areas and experience pain in various parts of our bodies. The pillow was designed in three separate parts that you can customize for the support you need during your pregnancy.
It offers head/neck, belly/back and hip/leg/ankle support customization. This is what separates this body pillow from all the other ones on the playground. What I love is the ability to change the pillow as your body changes during your pregnancy.
I wish I had better news on color choices for the Boppy. The fact is there really aren’t any choices. The pictures you see of the Boppy are rather deceptive as well, it looks as though it is a grey color. However, looking at it closer you will see it is actually a grey/blue with a subtle floral/bird pattern. One of the bad things is there are no custom cases available for the Boppy either.
The Bobby has the following measurements of 17.5 x 13.1 x 12.8 inches and weighs just a bit more than the KHOMO maternity pillow at 3 pounds.
Despite the fabric being a a little bit bland it still is cute and rather comfortable.
The ability to customize the pillow makes it a perfect fit for just about any body type.
I don’t think there is simply enough support for the belly, this is especially true in the latter stages of pregnancy.
The pillow uses velcro to attach all of the pieces together. When the pillow is put together that is all well and good, but if you are using on e piece t=you can feel that velcro. Not only does it rub against your skin, but it makes a crackling noise throughout the night.
Not having a removable cover can be problematic as well. The pillow is machine washable, but that is a lot of work when you just went to freshen it up on a weekly basis.
I searched several of the big brand baby shops online and still was able to find the best price on Amazon. In addition to the low price you can receive free shipping on the Boppy. So take a look at the Boppy and it’s current price and discounts right here and then prepare yourself for a good nights sleep.
